Torchwood: Parody Among Us 1

An Alternate timeline at the end of God Among Us, this is a hypothetical Torchwood series 7. There is no overarcing story, minus a bit of character development and a finale, this is mostly so I can write whatever Torchwood stories I want.

A New Torchwood, A New Cardiff. The Real Estate Mongol Carl Summers has the new mayor in his pocket. Yvonne Hartman's team has split, under her orders...across the world, Torchwood's new teams are forming under their command. Which is good, but it leaves Yvonne shortstaffed in Cardiff. Torchwood needs new blood, and Millionaire Tom Richardson has a few ideas...

7.1 And You Gotta Be Ready

Anastasia is a newcomer to Cardiff - and she's not exactly feeling welcome. Her uncle is dead. Mourning, she begins to notice that there's something special about this place. She sinks her remaining funds into research: What is Torchwood? Who is the mysterious Blonde Woman by the bay? Is Jubilee Pizza a front? The answer seems to lie with newcomer to cardiff, Millionaire Tom Richardson and his American wife Stacy. But dig too deep and you'll get dirty...

7.2 Baptism of Fire

As Anastasia starts to learn the ropes, She's assigned to stop a man named Carl Summers that's going to be the new Jeff Bezos. There are children going missing, and a wave of intelligence is sweeping over Cardiff. He's somehow responsible for both counts. Anastasia has to stop him, and her only backup is irritating fellow agent Brayden Hunter who could be more trouble than he's worth. 

7.3 Alien of The Week

A Torchwood Agent has died. They're missing important things, like limbs... and skin. Stacy is feeling rejected by Torchwood when she realizes she is one of the only people capable of solving the devious crime...But soon she and Ash are on the killer's target list. 

7.4 Snap 

There are billions of pictures on the internet. Trillions, quadrillions, a ludicrous number. There are plenty of images of horrible things. A certain computer port in Cardiff public library uploads more than others. Yvonne, Hunter and Tania go to investigate, and soon they find themselves at the mercy of a man who can change your soul itself with a click of a shutter.

  Cobwebs by Jonathan Morris Now stop me if you've heard this one before...  The Doctor and Companions arrive in Location X where they discover evidence that something bad is going to happen in the future (i.e. their deaths, the TARDIS not working, etc) and have to fudge the rules of time so they live. It's a Doctor Who stalwart, I should think, I can't count how many stories I've done with it, but the Fires of Vulcan and the entirety of Matt Smith series 6 come readily to mind - and quite frankly, Cobwebs is no exception. Torchwood: Aliens Among Us 2

  Love Rat by Christopher Cooper Trust Big Finish to remake Day One, and not only make it good, but also make it somewhat heartbreaking. Of course, Day One is a terrible and horny bit of TV, and Love Rat is also sort of that way, but it makes up for it (in my book) by dealing with the aftereffects of what this kind of story would actually do to the team. Jack's actions in this episode, although prompted by the parasite, aren't even out of character, and the way he seduces Tyler and Ng and the fallout of that is dealt with in a surprisingly mature and emotional manner. Unlike Day One, which strives to be mature, Love Rat is actually mature, and the Gwen and Ng arc is actually a gutpunch to hear, especially the final few scenes with Rhys, as throughout this series, Ng has taken over Gwen's life and utterly ruined it.   The Ninth Doctor Adventures: Ravagers Ravagers is such a weird choice to start the Ninth Doctor Adventures with because in terms of plot, this really feels like an Eleventh Doctor story. It’s convoluted and “timey wimey” and quite possibly disorienting for newcomers. In fact, no, it seems definitely disorienting for newcomers. You think a River Song flow chart was required? Nahh, A Ninth Doctor Ravagers flowchart is required, man. As an audio fanatic, it was quite confusing, and well, perhaps indicative of NuWho Three-Parters, because like most of them, it borders on the shit. And one would expect, me, as not really the worlds hugest Ninth Doctor fan, that I’d hate it, right? Nope! I love it. Really do, I mean, it’s not perfect (first releases for Doctors never are: Sirens of Time, Destination: Nerva and Only the Monstrous are all trash, and Technophobia is just okay) But on the whole, I felt it was a consistent set and the quality never really went up or down much in either directio
